Cremona, Parma and Pavia. All three cities have their own cultural and culinary treasures to discover. When you think of Cremona, music and nougat come into the mind. The traditional violin craftsmanship of Cremona was even declared an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO, and the famous Italian torrone nougat was invented here more than 500 years ago. Parma, with its prestigious history and many cultural sights, is a real gem, too. Besides, it is also a popular destination for various gastronomic products that look back to a long culinary tradition and are famous all over the world. Last but not least, there is Pavia, whose artistic and monumental heritage gives evidence to a glorious past that is still visible in the beautiful old town and in the famous Certosa monastery. Pavia also offers opportunities to taste some typical delicacies, such as rice or the torta paradiso, which was created here in the 19^th century.
