Verona Airport

How to get from the Verona Airport to Lake Garda

Verona Villafranca Airport, also known as Valerio Catullo Airport, is about 12 km from the city centre of Verona and about 15 km from Lake Garda. Various flights from national and international destinations leave from and arrive in Verona every day.

The airport  offers all kind of services a traveller may need: info point, money exchange, baggage wrapping, car rental, snack bars and some shops to make your waiting time more pleasant. As for parking, there are several car parks, both open-air and covered, just a few steps away from the airport’s entrance, which can be booked online.

From Catullo Airport in Verona you can easily get to the best places on Lake Garda. There is a shuttle service available to those who wish to get around by bus, the line 164. The service is managed by ATV (Transport Company of Verona) and allows you to reach the main towns of Lake Garda.

For those who prefer to travel by train, a shuttle service called Aerobus connects the airport and the railway station of Verona Porta Nuova every 20 minutes. From there you can take the train to Peschiera del Garda and eventually continue your journey by bus.

For those who favour a more comfortable, safe and above all relaxing trip, Europlan offers transfers (round trip) for groups and individual travellers from the Verona airport, but also from the railway stations in Verona, Peschiera del Garda or anywhere you want.
