International Verona Choir competition - 2025
Competition and festival with choirs from all over the world
From 26th to 30th of March 2025
The historic old town of Verona with its romantic alleys once inspired Shakespeare to write the world-famous love story of Romeo & Juliet. Experience this magic city rich in tradition!
The annual choir festival and choir competition in Verona is not only a highlight for the province of Verona but also for the Association Gruppi Corali Veronesi. The international choir competition provides singing associations and choirs with the opportunity to meet choirs from other countries and to perform in various exclusive locations.
Programme
DAY 1
- Arrival at your hotel on southern Lake Garda and welcome from your tour guide
- Free afternoon
- Dinner at the hotel
- Opening ceremony at the Philharmonic Theater
- Transfer back to hotel and overnight stay
DAY 2
- Breakfast
- Coach transfer to Verona for the competition
- Free time for lunch
- Guided walking tour in the historical centre on request*
- Transfer back to hotel, dinner and overnight stay
DAY 3
- Breakfast
- Day excursion of your choice**
- Return to hotel and overnight stay
DAY 4
- Breakfast
- Reception for choir directors
- Closing ceremony for all participating choirs at the Teatro Filarmonico
- Reception with snacks and drinks
- Procession of all choirs to the Arena of Verona, where they will perform together
- Return to hotel for dinner
- Meeting with an Italian choir
- Transfer back to hotel and overnight stay
