Molina Waterfall Park
Enjoy peaceful walks among caves, rivers, rocks, forests, and waterfalls of course!
From Lake Garda, you can easily reach a wide choice of natural parks to enjoy a day in tune with nature. One of them is the Molina Waterfall Park.
The waterfall park of Molina is not far from the city of Verona and the famous hills of the Valpolicella wine region, but also easily reachable from Lake Garda. It is the ideal destination for a relaxing break in nature. Passing by Fumane, you arrive at the small medieval village of Molina, named after the many watermills (in Italian "mulini") that use the hydropower of the water springs. The village is situated in the middle of three valleys, and it features ancient medieval stone houses, the above-mentioned mills, and lots of greenery. A relaxing stroll in the narrow streets of this enchanting place is highly recommended, as well as a visit to the didactic "Malga" mountain hut, especially if you travel with children.
The Molina Waterfall Park is a magnificent oasis covering over 80,000 m2, where you can enjoy fantastic landscapes, nude rocks, caves, woods, watercourses and of course waterfalls, the main attractions of the park. You can pick among three itineraries of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. The park features various attractions in harmony with the surroundings. Particularly impressive is the famous swing, hanging at 10 metres above the ground on the Cascata Nera (Black Waterfall), and allowing you to swing until touching its waters with the tip of your toes.
Along the itinerary you can find picnic areas where it is possible to get some rest out in nature. Furthermore, there is a kiosk selling sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. Thanks to the three different tours available, the park is accessible to everyone, also for less trained people. Dogs are also allowed if they are kept on a leash along the trails. Strollers are not allowed in the park.
As for tickets, the full price is € 7, while reduced tickets cost € 4,50 for children from 6 to 12 years and for disabled person's carer. Students and visitors of more than 60 years get a small discount paying € 6 whereas children up to 5 years and visitors with disabilities enter or free.
